Delivery Options

Each order is sent to you directly by the small business that created the product listing. Vendors set their own timings for delivery. It is our intention to complete orders as quickly as possible, and to provide the most efficient and cost effective delivery method. Delivery charges vary throughout the site, but are never more than what it actually costs us to package and deliver an item.

When comparing costs of products, please consider the total price including postage and packing rather than looking for offers of ‘free delivery’ or flat rate charges. Please also remember that the price of packing is included within delivery charges.

UK Non Standard items	Personalised, bespoke and made-to-order items can take up to 28 days. Delivery costs and times on all non-standard, heavy, valuable and perishable items will vary.

Delivery times

Unless you’re having an item specially made or ordered, delivery is normally within five to seven working days, and often sooner.

The vendor will include details of normal delivery times on their product pages.

If you want more information about delivery for a product that you’ve already ordered, please get in touch with us directly. We are very happy to help.

Very occasionally, unavoidable factors can delay a parcel (bad weather or postal strikes, for example). If this happens the vendor or Home and Garden Gifts will let you know. We do ask for your patience if this happens – we’ll be doing our best to sort it out for you.

Delivery and promotions

If you take advantage of a discount (such as 10% off), the reduction is usually applied only to the price of the product you’ve chosen, not the delivery cost. Also, any free delivery offers will normally mean standard UK delivery only.

UK delivery of standard items

Most standard orders are delivered within the UK for £3.95 per Vendor, and many are free delivery.

If a product is delivered for free this is clearly displayed on the product page.

UK delivery of non-standard items

A non-standard item is something that’s considered to be personalised, made to order, fragile, perishable, of high value, large or heavy, or something that has exceptional delivery requirements. For these products, the above costs won’t apply – you may be contacted by us to discuss additional delivery charges.

We will always try to deliver your order as quickly as possible, or on a specific date if required. However, please do be aware that this is never guaranteed and we cannot be held responsible if an order does not arrive on time. If you are not generally at home during the day please consider having your order sent to an alternative address such as a to neighbour, or your place of work.

In the event of an item being returned to Home & Garden Gifts Online Ltd as the result of the carrier being unable to deliver we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. You will be liable for any re-delivery costs due. Should you decide you wish to cancel your order any refund issued will be less the original outward delivery charge. If the item(s) ordered qualified for free delivery any refund due will be minus a charge for initial outward delivery. This will be equal to the amount paid by Home and Garden Gifts for delivery to you.

We can arrange 'guaranteed next day delivery' for some items. Please contact us by phone or email before placing your order if this is a service you require. This will enable us to check stock availability and inform you of any additional delivery charges if necessary.

If you have ordered a log cabin or large garden item, you will be contacted directly by the delivery company in order to arrange a mutually convenient time.

Delivery prices are quoted for mainland UK only. We can deliver some items to Ireland, Scottish highlands and islands and also abroad. Please contact us directly if you have any queries about delivery locations.
