Delivery Information
We sell such a wide range of items that it is difficult to apply a single delivery and returns policy to all products.
General information is shown below and any additional item-specific information is shown within the product pages on the website.
It is our intention to complete orders as quickly as possible, and to provide the most efficient and cost effective delivery method. Delivery charges vary throughout the site, but are never more than what it actually costs us to package and deliver an item.
When comparing costs of products, please consider the total price including postage and packing rather than looking for offers of ‘free delivery’ or flat rate charges. Please also remember that the price of packing is included within delivery charges.
We will always try to deliver your order as quickly as possible, or on a specific date if required. However, please do be aware that this is never guaranteed and we cannot be held responsible if an order does not arrive on time. If you are not generally at home during the day please consider having your order sent to an alternative address such as a to neighbour, or your place of work.
In the event of an item being returned to Home and Garden Gifts as the result of the carrier being unable to deliver we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. You will be liable for any re-delivery costs due. Should you decide you wish to cancel your order any refund issued will be less the original outward delivery charge. If the item(s) ordered qualified for free delivery any refund due will be minus a charge for initial outward delivery. This will be equal to the amount paid by Home and Garden Gifts for delivery to you.
We can arrange 'guaranteed next day delivery' for some items. Please contact us by phone or email before placing your order if this is a service you require. This will enable us to check stock availability and inform you of any additional delivery charges if necessary.
If you have ordered a log cabin or large garden item, you will be contacted directly by the delivery company in order to arrange a mutually convenient time.
Delivery prices are quoted for mainland UK only. We can deliver some items to Ireland, Scottish highlands and islands and also abroad. Please contact us directly if you have any queries about delivery locations. If you can do this by email to delivery@homeandgardengifts.co.uk and provide a delivery postcode (or location if no postcode is available) along with the product you are interested in, we will get back to you as quickly as possible.
