The legacy of the Titanic is still well known today. The magnificence and sheer monolithic size of the task of building the ship itself was a feat of engineering at the time, classifying it as the largest ship ever built at the time by some distance. Only four days into the initial voyage after the ship left the docks in Southampton for New York via France, did it collide into an iceberg (an impact lasting ten seconds) and begin to take on water. The famous tragedy that everybody knows then followed.

However, the ship was and is perhaps still considered to be one of the most luxurious ever built and this fantastic trivial set allows you to experience some of the glamour and excitement people on board would have felt, except you know you’re safe and in no risk of getting wet.
