The optional Foundation Kit is galvanised with a painted base frame that assembles to exactly the same base measurements of your metal shed. Once it has been assembled it is then laid out onto a plastic sheet that has been set upon smooth and evenly compacted soil. You then attach the base rails to the frame structure and finish building the shed. Then flood out the foundation kit with concrete to give a smooth floor. Alternatively, you could secure the frame to a base of concrete or concrete slabs and obtain water resistant flooring components that can be mounted and screwed straight ontop of the foundation framework.
